welcome!

I’m happy to invite you to the launch of our new service with this website! I recently passed the board certification for Patient Advocacy, and I’m excited to expand my practice for real!

Patient Advocacy Partners is live and growing and super exciting. I’m here to support families and individuals during their healthcare journeys. It’s a mission I’m passionate about.

I’m located in Colorado and practice in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming, although much of our work this past year has been remote. Reach out if you think we can be of help to you and your family, even if you don’t live nearby in this corner of the country..

Patient advocates can be of use in many ways. I attend visits to provide a second set of eyes, take notes, and communicate information that a patient sometimes misses during an appointment.

I review medical billing for accuracy, and negotiate discounts where that’s appropriate.

In addition, I’m offering a secure, private, HIPAA-compliant way for clients to gather health data from all of the different providers that a typical person sees: hospitals, primary care physicians, specialty consultation, pharmacies… imagine all of your data in one place!

Give me a call or drop me an email if you’d like to learn more, or want to explore using a patient advocate in your medical life.

What is a Patient Advocate?

“A person who helps guide a patient through the healthcare system. This includes help going through the screening, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of a medical condition, such as cancer. A patient advocate helps patients communicate with their healthcare providers so they get the information they need to make decisions about their health care. Patient advocates may also help patients set up appointments for doctor visits and medical tests and get financial, legal, and social support. They may also work with insurance companies, employers, case managers, lawyers, and others who may have an effect on a patient’s healthcare needs. ”  ~from NIH National Cancer Institute definition
